iSono Health, a San Francisco based Y-Combinator alum and venture-backed medical devices startup, was pioneering a 3D ultrasound body-scanning technology to revolutionise breast cancer screening. Despite their cutting-edge science, iSono faced a familiar startup hurdle: demonstrating real commercial traction, a critical requirement for both next-stage fundraising and regulatory preparation.
With an ambitious innovation but limited evidence of market adoption, iSono and one of its investors asked for expert help to build commercial proof points to deliver a successful funding round.

Stepping into a pivotal partnership role, we collaborated with iSono and its stakeholders to design and execute an 8-week market validation campaign. Our approach was practical and outcomes-focused: we activated 11 customer acquisition channels to attract and engage potential early-stage testers and buyers for iSono’s novel technology.
Acting as embedded experts-in-residence, we partnered with the founders and core team while orchestrating a network of specialist domain experts to provide tailored support and market insight throughout the programme.
